The vibrant sporting life of the School supports the development and wellbeing of students, from beginners to elite performers.

Students are encouraged to participate in the varied sporting opportunities on offer and we are proud that nearly all ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ students choose to play one or more sports at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½. The emphasis of sport at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ is to nurture an inclusive and supportive sporting culture that leads to personal best performances, and important and lasting benefits to mental and physical health. The sporting program allows individuals to experiment with new sports, no matter the level of skill, and encourages seasoned competitors to improve skills and achieve at higher levels.

We are immensely proud that students and old scholars have performed at elite levels, representing both their state and country in a wide variety of sporting disciplines - from diving to AFL football and equestrian, to rowing, water polo, cycling...and more.

Boys and girls are equally involved in sport at ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½, and the School supports gender equity in the range of sporting activities available.

Teaching staff are highly involved in ÀÖ²¥´«Ã½ sports as coaches or managers, supported by highly accredited head coaches. The Heads of Sport facilitates the overall management of the sporting program.

The Athlete Development Elective provides an opportunity for Middle School student athletes to develop their skills within the curriculum program, in addition to their chosen co-curricular activities and participation at elite level sports beyond the School.
